What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" — it's a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the Web, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs. Web publishers use RSS to easily create and distribute feeds that include links, headlines, and summaries.

Yahoo! Tech offers RSS feeds that you can read in My Yahoo! or using third-party RSS news reader software.

What are the terms of use?

The feeds are provided free of charge for use by individuals and non-profit organizations for personal, non-commercial uses. We ask that you provide attribution to Yahoo! Tech in connection with your use of the feeds.

Yahoo! Tech also reserves the right to require you to cease distributing these feeds at any time for any reason.

How can I use RSS?

News Aggregators (also called news readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. Other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. Yahoo! lets you add RSS feeds to your My Yahoo! page; to make this easier, you can click on the Add to My Yahoo! button to the right of each RSS button.
